Occupational Therapist

Shannon is an Occupational Therapist who received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto.

Shannon has over 20 years experience in Neurological Rehabilitation, and is excited to complement her hospital-based experience with a community-based practice. Shannon is dedicated to providing evidence-informed interventions to enable children to maximize their skills, strategies and confidence in their daily functioning at home, at school and in the community.

Additional Training: Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), KinesioTaping, Myofacial Release, Core Control for Neurological Populations.

Special Interests: Fine and Gross Motor Skill development, Self-Regulation, Neuroplasticity, Sensory Processing and Mindfulness.
