SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Samantha received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto. She has clinical experience in the areas of receptive and expressive language, motor speech, articulation and phonology, myofunctional therapy, Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and social communication. Samantha is dedicated to meeting each of her client’s unique goals using evidence-based therapy approaches. She believes in a client-centred and play-based approach to therapy that will intrinsically motivate success and self-determination. She primarily works with the pre-school and school-aged population at this time.  

 

Additional Training: Hanen It Takes Two To Talk Certification, Project ECHO Ontario Autism workshops.

 

Special Interests: Early language development, Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), social communication, and orofacial myofunctional therapy.
