OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

 

Romy is an occupational therapist who holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Western University. She is licensed by the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and holds membership with the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists.

 

Romy has worked with children of all ages in both community and school settings. She has experience assisting children and their families with fine and gross motor skill development, handwriting, executive functioning, self-regulation and a variety of feeding difficulties arising from physical restrictions as well as sensory and motor challenges.

 

Romy strives to provide comprehensive, family centered assessment and treatments in a fun, calm and professional manner.

 

Additional Training: Letter formation and written organization, The Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S) Approach to Feeding, Mealtime Miseries: Management of Complex Feeding Disorders, Triggers, Treatment and Tools: A Comprehensive Exploration of Self-Regulation, Becoming a Behavioural Detective: Understanding, Surviving & Supporting Complex Behaviours.

Special Interests: Fine and gross motor skill development, feeding and self-regulation.
