Speech-Language Pathologist

Andrea received her Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Clinical Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Western Ontario.  Her previous clinical practice included adult hospital and school-based community intervention.  Andrea currently provides assessment and treatment throughout the developmental lifespan, from infant and preschool years to school-aged populations. Her passion to help a wide range of needs has grown an extensive skillset including infant and toddler oral motor dysfunction and feeding, orofacial myofunctional therapy, motor speech, language, and social communication. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based support within a fun and energetic atmosphere.  


Additional Training: Continual education courses in orofacial myofunctional therapy, tethered oral tissues, infant oral dysfunction, feeding, social communication, and speech and language 
development. Trained Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, PROMPT Training, Hanen It Takes Two to Talk and More than Words.

Special Interests: Orofacial Myology, Infant Oral Dysfunction, Feeding Therapy, Early Language Development, Articulation/Phonology, Receptive and Expressive Language, Motor Speech Difficulties, and Social Communication.
