Emma attended York University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. After
working as an instructor therapist, Emma attended Durham College and received her Graduate
Certificate in Communicative Disorders Assisting (CDA).
Emma is passionate about working with children in all areas of speech and language
therapy. She takes a play-based and neurodivergent affirming approach in her practice. Emma has
extensive professional and personal experience working with autistic children and adults.

Special Interests: Social communication, Alternative and Augmentative Communication
(AAC), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), articulation, and literacy
