Darci Brill

Darci is a registered speech-language pathologist (S-LP) with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). She holds a Master of Health Science in S-LP from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology from Queen’s University. Darci is dedicated to providing evidence-based, client-centered care and has experience supporting preschool and school-aged children in articulation/phonology, receptive and expressive language, motor speech, gestalt language development, social communication, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She fosters a positive, neurodiversity-affirming therapeutic environment tailored to each child’s unique goals and collaborates with caregivers to integrate parent training for optimal outcomes.

Darci has completed the Gestalt Language Processing, Echolalia, and Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) course through Meaningful Speech and the Selecting and Implementing AAC Systems for Young Children with Complex Communication Needs course through NSS. She is currently working towards training in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) and plans to further develop her expertise in motor speech, fluency, and myofunctional therapy.

Special Interests: articulation/phonology, gestalt language development, expressive/receptive language.
