Bashir Alaarag is a dedicated professional with a passion for psychology and behavior sciences. Boasting six years of invaluable experience working with ASD and neurotypical populations through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech therapy. He is a proud graduate of McMaster University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behavior, showcasing his commitment to understanding the complexities of the human mind.

Additional Training:

PEERS Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®). This program, internationally recognized for providing evidence-based social skills treatment, is aimed at improving the lives of individuals dealing with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional challenges.

Complementing his educational pursuits, Bashir also completed critical certifications in CPR and the Registered Behavior Technician ® (RBT®). The RBT® certification, recognized by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), underscores his commitment to behavior analysis and his dedication to making a positive impact in this field.

Currently, Bashir is furthering his academic journey as he works toward a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, a testament to his ongoing pursuit of knowledge and excellence in the realm of mental health and well-being.

Beyond his academic and professional achievements, Bashir’s interests extend into the realm of physical activity. He finds joy and balance in sports like soccer and maintains an active lifestyle by regularly hitting the gym.
