Bear Bottle: ARK's Bear Bottle Kit is a fun and friendly way to make drinking easier for beginners and/or children with oral motor difficulties. It's also an excellent way to transition babies straight from bottles to straw drinking - skipping sippy cups altogether! Most sippy cups promote improper tongue and lip positioning that can cause speech problems later on. Straws are a better alternative, as they strengthen the mouth muscles and encourage tongue retraction, cheek tension, and lip closure.

The Bear Bottle features a unique valve that controls the direction of fluid - liquid flows up into the straw, but does not flow back down. Simply squeeze the bear's belly until fluid reaches the top of the straw and release. Fluid will stay at the top of the straw, thereby decreasing the effort required to drink. Highly recommended for individuals who tend to aspirate or have a weak suck with difficulties generating and maintaining suction.

The Kit includes: 1 easy-to-squeeze Bear Bottle with a snap-close cap, 1 Select-Flow Valve, 2 eight-inch long tubing straws, 1 yellow Lip Blok® (3/4"), and instructions on how to teach straw drinking.

Gootensils: The revolutionary new first step to self-feeding, the NumNum GOOtensil is sold in a dual-stage two-pack. Its innovative design makes it easier to use than a spoon because there's no wrong way to hold it. The blue GOOtensil, which doubles as a feeding teether, is for kids using a utensil for the first time so it grabs just enough food to give baby a taste of self-feeding independence. The orange GOOtensil is for thicker blends and kids who have mastered the food-to-mouth motion. Before long, your baby will begin making a scooping motion, an indication he or she is ready to graduate to the spoon. NumNum, indeed!

Y-Chew:  oral motor chew tool with 3 extensions to chew on.  Each "arm" of the Y shape features a different texture: one smooth, one ribbed, and one with gentle bumps for a varying sensory experience.

Use the Y-Chew as an oral fidget for sensory seekers who crave chewing, or for anyone who needs to chew for any reason (as a safe alternative to biting your nails or grinding your teeth, as way for individuals fed via g-tube to still be able to chew on something orally, and so forth).  The Y-Chew is also a staple oral motor / feeding therapy tool.   Use it to practice biting/chewing skills without the risk of choking, or to work on jaw strength and stability, or to help decrease oral sensitivities / food aversions.  For individuals with low oral tone / limited jaw strength, start with the soft one and graduate to the harder one to gradually build oral strength.  It's a very simple yet versatile tool with many different uses.
