Karen Kuperberg

Dietician

Karen Kuperberg is a Registered Dietitian, and a member of both Dietitians of Canada and the College of Dietitians of Ontario.

She studied biology at the University of Toronto graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree, and Nutrition at Ryerson University, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Karen then completed her Masters Degree in Nutrition at the University of Guelph, and then proceeded to complete the dietetic internship program at The Hosptial for Sick Children (Sickkids).

Karen has 16 + years of experience working as a pediatric dietitian at Sickkids where she has had various roles in general pediatrics and nephrology doing a combination of in-hospital and home visits; working with medically fragile children

Karen also has a private practice in Vaughan where she sees children (and their families) for individual consultations, offering expert advice on infant and pediatric feeding, feeding problems, fussy eating, weight control, gastro-intestinal reflux, allergies, intolerances, tube feeding and other nutritional issues.

 

 

Sara Noble

OT REG. (ONT.)

Occupational Therapist

Sara is an Occupational Therapist who holds degrees in Kinesiology (1999) and Occupational Therapy (2001) from McMaster University.   She has been practicing since 2001 with a variety of paediatric populations from newborns up to high school age.    She has worked with all ages to help promote development of fine motor, gross motor, play and cognitive skills.   Additionally, she has experience working with children with feeding difficulties, including sensory and motor challenges, assisting with transition from tube to oral feeding, and progressing through textures.   She has worked with school aged children to provide strategies to help with sensory processing and self regulation, as well as fine and gross motor skills including handwriting, motor planning strategies and coordination. 

Sara uses a fun, eclectic, evidenced based and family centred approach.  She draws strategies from a variety of courses and experiences to  work on goal setting, with the goal of helping the whole child to develop independence and goal achievement while having a lot of fun!

Special Interests: Fine, gross motor and play skills development,  feeding, self- regulation.  

 

Lauren Reznick

Orofacial Myologist

Lauren obtained her Masters of Science in Communication Disorders at the University of Wisconsin. Lauren is also a Certified Basic DIR®/Floortime Provider, and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. Her energies are focussed on helping babies and toddlers with special motor, sensory, and feeding challenges by addressing oral-motor dysfunction, neuromuscular re-education, and early language development. Lauren has received multiple awards from the American Speech and Language Association in recognition of her exceptional commitment to her continuing professional education. She actively integrates a variety of strategies and techniques from the workshops she's attended into her assessment and treatment sessions. Lauren is the owner and director of Lauren Reznick Therapy Services, where she works with children and their families in the GTA, providing evaluations, program plans and therapy programs. Her goal in addressing feeding and speech challenges is to improve the quality of life for both the children she serves, and their families.
