COVID-19

RELEVANT COVID PROCEDURES FOR OUR CLIENTSupdated December 1, 2020

WE WILL BE EMAILING A COVID SCREENING FORM TO EACH CLIENT THE DAY BEFORE THEIR CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT. PLEASE COMPLETE THE FORM PRIOR TO YOUR IN-CLINIC APPOINTMENT, OR CONTACT US IF YOU HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT.

Client and staff safety is our first priority. We have developed many new policies and practices. Here’s what you can expect from your next visit! We are:

  • Conducting thorough health screenings (including temperature checks for clients and staff). You will be sent a COVID screening questionnaire that you must answer before your session. If you answer YES to any of the screening questions, we kindly ask you to let us know PRIOR to attending your session. We will help you determine the safest next steps for you and your family. Each person that enters our doors, MUST screen negative
  • Closing our waiting room and asking that you kindly wait outside or in your car, until 2 minutes prior to your appointment time
  • Allowing only ONE guardian to attend session with client
  • Caregiver accompanying client MUST wear a mask
  • Sanitizing hands and/ or hand washing upon entry (REQUIRED by all clients and staff)
  • Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Using plexiglass barriers, when appropriate
  • Disinfecting between EACH client, as per the CDC/WHO standards
  • Spacing and staggering appointments times
  • Reducing the number of clients and staff in the clinic at any given time
  • Adhering to physical distancing guidelines
  • Regulating all sanitization procedures
  • Requiring payment PRIOR to in-clinic visits. No cash or cheque accepted at this time
  • Offering virtual administrative support and electronic invoicing / documents
  • Encouraging teletherapy when possible

*NOTE: Your child will not be required to wear a mask. We will have children’s face shield’s available, if you think your child will tolerate wearing one. If your child is over 3 years of age and can safely wear and tolerate a mask, they should wear their mask upon entry and their therapist will let them know how and when to remove the mask, if it is required in order to see their mouths*

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. We look forward to meeting you!
